Inspired by the dynamism of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons violin concerti, this series of pictures were captured in Albuquerque, NM with the same sakura over the span of a year, depicting its symbolic and physical transformation in each season. This emotive change mirrored my personal journey as an immigrant who has to come to grips with his identity(ies), sexuality and non-permanence.
