Freedom is doing what you love, and the freedom to pursue it to the point of taking it to higher & higher levels of greatness. To be in a position where I am able to produce a remix of my own song that a) involves exactly who I wish for -- two incredibly talented artists, and b) ends up queer and diverse and inclusive af in perspective as a whole ... is a dream come true. It's a milestone for me in my music career and it feels like freedom.

 

It feels good to share this song with an artist statement in a queer place -- mostly because I don't have many people around me who understand me on an artist level, let alone on a queer WOC artist level.
